Yokosuka Japan NAVPACMETOFAC Holographic Decal Design

This die-cut vinyl decal features a visually striking design centered around the NAVPACMETOFAC (Naval Pacific Meteorology and Oceanography Facility) located in Yokosuka, Japan. The artwork incorporates several key elements that communicate the facility's mission and location.

Visual Elements & Symbolism

The central imagery likely presents a stylized representation of the Earth, focused on the Pacific Ocean, indicating the facility's area of responsibility. Overlaid upon this may be a nautical chart aesthetic, with lines and symbols suggesting ocean currents, weather patterns, and potentially other scientific data related to the facility's scope. The holographic effect adds a dynamic dimension, mirroring the ever-changing nature of the meteorological and oceanographic data provided by NAVPACMETOFAC.

Prominently featured will be the text "NAVPACMETOFAC" along with "Yokosuka, Japan," clearly identifying the entity and its location. The design likely incorporates the U.S. Navy's emblem or a similar visual cue, reinforcing the organization and mission.

The die-cut shape of the decal allows the design to blend seamlessly with any surface, creating a visual emphasis on the chosen imagery and information. The artwork evokes a sense of both technological precision and geographical focus, highlighting NAVPACMETOFAC's role as a vital operational hub for the U.S. Navy in the Western Pacific.

Holographic vinyl decals with a high-contrast rainbow sheen, printed with eco-friendly inks on premium, weather-rated film. Waterproof, UV-protected, and available in five sizes.

Built to turn heads and hold up outdoors. These holographic decals use premium printable vinyl topped with a UV-protective laminate. The film is rated for multi-year outdoor exposure, so the color stays bold and the surface resists scuffs and sun fade.

  • Signature finish: a 99% opaque rainbow effect that shifts with angle and light—clean edges and a smooth, matte-sheen feel rather than a mirror gloss.
  • Waterproof: designed for rain, splashes, and regular washing on smooth, non-porous surfaces.
  • Eco-conscious printing: vibrant, high-density color produced with eco-solvent inks for sharp lines and rich gradients.
  • Color guidance: no white underbase is applied; pure white areas won’t print, and very light tones allow the holographic layer to show through. Darker tones deliver the strongest contrast.
  • Easy-peel backing: release liner separates cleanly for quick, bubble-free placement.

Made for smooth surfaces: glass, metal, coated plastics, sealed laptops, bottles, mirrors, lockers, and windows. Suitable for interiors and short-term exterior spots like vehicle windows or signage.

  1. Prep: clean the area with mild soap and water or 70% isopropyl alcohol; let it dry fully.
  2. Apply: peel, align, and press from the center outward with a card or squeegee to push out air.
  3. Set: allow 24 hours for the adhesive to reach full bond; avoid heavy moisture during this time.

Tips: Avoid heavily textured or silicone-coated surfaces. For curved items, apply slowly and don’t stretch the film.

  • Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth from the center outward to lift dust and grime.
  • Avoid abrasive pads, harsh solvents, or pressure washers that can dull the holographic layer.
  • If placed on bottles or mugs, hand-wash is recommended. Prolonged high-heat cycles can shorten adhesive life.

Available in five sizes. Measurements refer to the longest side of the decal. A “3 inch” option is 3 inches across its largest dimension; the die-cut follows the exact contour for crisp, professional edges.
