V40-LV (Latvia) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Die-Cut Decal

This die-cut sticker reproduces a road sign from Latvia as a single, clean emblem that reads at a glance.

Visual Elements & Composition

The design rests on one central figure with nothing competing around it. The sign's outline dominates the image, and the layout stays plain and uncluttered, so the silhouette carries the whole composition. The V40-LV code in the name frames the piece as a specific Latvian reference rather than a generic motif.

Meaning & Symbolism

Road signs form a shared visual language for travellers and residents alike, and a Latvian sign speaks to the country's everyday national identity as it appears on its roads. The design's themes are national identity, heritage and geographic connection. The LV suffix is the international code for Latvia, linking the piece directly to the country. The original sign comes from Latvia's road-sign tradition, and this sticker is an independent reproduction of that source.

On the Die-Cut Sticker

A die-cut sticker is cut to its own outline, so the sign's shape is the object itself rather than a rectangle with a shape printed inside it. Held in the hand or placed at close range, the silhouette and its central figure read clearly. It suits a laptop lid, a notebook cover, or a travel case, where a sign-shaped mark carries the Latvian reference into everyday use.

Die-cut vinyl decals: precision-cut shapes on premium water-resistant vinyl with a matte laminate and UV protection — built to resist sun, rain and everyday wear for long-lasting use.

These die-cut decals are trimmed exactly to the design, producing crisp edges and a professional finish. They’re made from thick, water-resistant vinyl and finished with a matte UV laminate that reduces glare while protecting colors from fading.

The production process uses eco-solvent inks for dense, even color and a protective overlaminate that helps the decal survive outdoor exposure. Rated for multi-year outdoor life when applied to the right surface, these decals give a clean, matte look without sacrificing durability.

  • Material: premium water-resistant vinyl engineered for weather resistance.
  • Finish: matte laminate that mutes shine and guards against scratches.
  • Print: eco-solvent inks for solid blacks and vivid color depth.
  • Protection: UV laminate extends outdoor life and helps prevent fade.
  • Longevity: rated to last multiple years outdoors under normal conditions.

Die-cut decals adhere best to smooth, non-porous surfaces — glass, metal, coated plastics and finished wood. They work well on bottles, windows, laptops and vehicle windows for short- to medium-term outdoor use.

  1. Prep the surface: remove dust and oils with a lint-free cloth; for residue use mild soap and water and allow to dry fully.
  2. Peel and position: lift a corner of the liner, align the decal and lay it down slowly, pressing from the center outward.
  3. Seal: smooth the edges with a card or your thumb to ensure full contact and reduce trapping air.

Note: to keep adhesive performance in wet conditions, apply decals to very smooth surfaces (for example: glass). Avoid rough or heavily textured materials where the adhesive can’t form a full bond.

Maintenance is low-effort. Gently wipe decals with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp microfiber and light pressure will clean the surface — dry immediately afterward.

Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents or power washers; these can scratch the laminate or lift edges. Proper care preserves the matte finish and keeps colors vivid for longer.

Sizes are specified by the longest side. For example, a 4″ decal measures four inches across its greatest dimension. The die-cut follows the artwork’s contour so the decal sits flush with clean, professional edges.

Small variations can occur with intricate outlines, but the listed measurement always reflects the maximum edge-to-edge length for accurate placement planning.
