TW THWyl212 (Taiwan) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Die-Cut Decal

This design reproduces a Taiwanese route marker in flat black and white, with a bold Chinese character and the numeral 212 set inside a rounded rectangle.

Visual Elements & Composition

White fills most of the frame, with black forming the sign's rounded-rectangle border and its lettering. The layout is centred and symmetrical, so the eye settles on two focal points: the heavy character 雲 and the numerals 212 beneath it. There is no background texture or decoration. Everything is reduced to flat vector shapes, which gives the piece the disciplined, formal look of signage.

Meaning & Symbolism

Route markers are built to be read at a glance, and this one follows that logic. The character 雲 is the abbreviation for Yunlin, a county in western Taiwan, and the number 212 works as the route identifier. Together they turn a place into a code, which is how road networks label territory. The design takes that system at face value and presents it as a piece of regional identity, drawn from the everyday language of Taiwanese roads.

Built to the Shape of the Sign

A die-cut sticker follows its own outline, and here that outline is the sign itself. The rounded border becomes the edge of the object, so the artwork and the cut are the same line. Placed on a laptop, a water bottle or a notebook, it reads as a small piece of roadside signage, with the black lettering doing all the work against the white field.

Die-cut vinyl decals: precision-cut shapes on premium water-resistant vinyl with a matte laminate and UV protection — built to resist sun, rain and everyday wear for long-lasting use.

These die-cut decals are trimmed exactly to the design, producing crisp edges and a professional finish. They’re made from thick, water-resistant vinyl and finished with a matte UV laminate that reduces glare while protecting colors from fading.

The production process uses eco-solvent inks for dense, even color and a protective overlaminate that helps the decal survive outdoor exposure. Rated for multi-year outdoor life when applied to the right surface, these decals give a clean, matte look without sacrificing durability.

  • Material: premium water-resistant vinyl engineered for weather resistance.
  • Finish: matte laminate that mutes shine and guards against scratches.
  • Print: eco-solvent inks for solid blacks and vivid color depth.
  • Protection: UV laminate extends outdoor life and helps prevent fade.
  • Longevity: rated to last multiple years outdoors under normal conditions.

Die-cut decals adhere best to smooth, non-porous surfaces — glass, metal, coated plastics and finished wood. They work well on bottles, windows, laptops and vehicle windows for short- to medium-term outdoor use.

  1. Prep the surface: remove dust and oils with a lint-free cloth; for residue use mild soap and water and allow to dry fully.
  2. Peel and position: lift a corner of the liner, align the decal and lay it down slowly, pressing from the center outward.
  3. Seal: smooth the edges with a card or your thumb to ensure full contact and reduce trapping air.

Note: to keep adhesive performance in wet conditions, apply decals to very smooth surfaces (for example: glass). Avoid rough or heavily textured materials where the adhesive can’t form a full bond.

Maintenance is low-effort. Gently wipe decals with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp microfiber and light pressure will clean the surface — dry immediately afterward.

Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents or power washers; these can scratch the laminate or lift edges. Proper care preserves the matte finish and keeps colors vivid for longer.

Sizes are specified by the longest side. For example, a 4″ decal measures four inches across its greatest dimension. The die-cut follows the artwork’s contour so the decal sits flush with clean, professional edges.

Small variations can occur with intricate outlines, but the listed measurement always reflects the maximum edge-to-edge length for accurate placement planning.
