TW THWch201 (Taiwan) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Die-Cut Decal

This design renders a Taiwanese route marker as a black-bordered rounded rectangle, with the character 彰 followed by the bold numerals 201.

Visual Elements & Composition

The sign is drawn flat in black on white, and white makes up the bulk of the field. The black border is a rounded rectangle that sets the sign apart from the ground, and the character and numerals sit within it in heavy black sans-serif. The layout is a single horizontal row of marks with nothing else competing for attention, so the text and border are the whole of the composition.

Meaning & Symbolism

Route markers are how drivers identify the road they are on, and this one is built for that purpose. The character 彰 refers to Changhua, a county in western Taiwan, and 201 is the route number. Placed together, the character and number make the sign a clear marker of regional road identity.

Fitting the Die-Cut Sticker

A die-cut sticker is cut along the outline of its artwork, and the rounded border here provides a simple closed path for that cut. The sticker's edge therefore follows the sign itself. Once applied, the piece reads as a single compact marker, with its heavy black numerals legible at a glance.

Die-cut vinyl decals: precision-cut shapes on premium water-resistant vinyl with a matte laminate and UV protection — built to resist sun, rain and everyday wear for long-lasting use.

These die-cut decals are trimmed exactly to the design, producing crisp edges and a professional finish. They’re made from thick, water-resistant vinyl and finished with a matte UV laminate that reduces glare while protecting colors from fading.

The production process uses eco-solvent inks for dense, even color and a protective overlaminate that helps the decal survive outdoor exposure. Rated for multi-year outdoor life when applied to the right surface, these decals give a clean, matte look without sacrificing durability.

  • Material: premium water-resistant vinyl engineered for weather resistance.
  • Finish: matte laminate that mutes shine and guards against scratches.
  • Print: eco-solvent inks for solid blacks and vivid color depth.
  • Protection: UV laminate extends outdoor life and helps prevent fade.
  • Longevity: rated to last multiple years outdoors under normal conditions.

Die-cut decals adhere best to smooth, non-porous surfaces — glass, metal, coated plastics and finished wood. They work well on bottles, windows, laptops and vehicle windows for short- to medium-term outdoor use.

  1. Prep the surface: remove dust and oils with a lint-free cloth; for residue use mild soap and water and allow to dry fully.
  2. Peel and position: lift a corner of the liner, align the decal and lay it down slowly, pressing from the center outward.
  3. Seal: smooth the edges with a card or your thumb to ensure full contact and reduce trapping air.

Note: to keep adhesive performance in wet conditions, apply decals to very smooth surfaces (for example: glass). Avoid rough or heavily textured materials where the adhesive can’t form a full bond.

Maintenance is low-effort. Gently wipe decals with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp microfiber and light pressure will clean the surface — dry immediately afterward.

Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents or power washers; these can scratch the laminate or lift edges. Proper care preserves the matte finish and keeps colors vivid for longer.

Sizes are specified by the longest side. For example, a 4″ decal measures four inches across its greatest dimension. The die-cut follows the artwork’s contour so the decal sits flush with clean, professional edges.

Small variations can occur with intricate outlines, but the listed measurement always reflects the maximum edge-to-edge length for accurate placement planning.
