SP-234 (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Die-Cut Decal

This design takes the form of a road sign and turns it into a Brazil-themed graphic, with the sign's shape and numbering carrying the whole composition.

Visual Elements & Composition

The layout is direct and uncluttered. A single sign-like panel holds the centre of the piece, and the design gives its primary subject the full field, with no secondary decoration competing for attention. The alphanumeric marking SP-234 is the main text, set as the sign's identifier and read first. The composition works through restraint: one subject, one message, and nothing added beyond what the sign needs to say.

Meaning & Symbolism

Road signs are a language of navigation, and this one speaks it with a Brazilian accent. The SP prefix is the code for the state of São Paulo, and Brazilian state highways carry designations of this kind, so the numbering places the design on a specific regional route rather than a generic road. The "Brazil" label and the travel and geographic themes it carries make the sign a marker of place, a way of pointing toward one country's roads and the journeys along them.

Designed for the Die-Cut Sticker

A road sign is already an object defined by its outline, and this sticker is cut to that same outline. The shape of the sign becomes the shape of the sticker, so the artwork and the object are one thing rather than a graphic placed on a blank. Because the design is a single, focused subject, it reads clearly at the scale a sticker is usually seen, whether on a notebook, a case, or a travel journal.

Die-cut vinyl decals: precision-cut shapes on premium water-resistant vinyl with a matte laminate and UV protection — built to resist sun, rain and everyday wear for long-lasting use.

These die-cut decals are trimmed exactly to the design, producing crisp edges and a professional finish. They’re made from thick, water-resistant vinyl and finished with a matte UV laminate that reduces glare while protecting colors from fading.

The production process uses eco-solvent inks for dense, even color and a protective overlaminate that helps the decal survive outdoor exposure. Rated for multi-year outdoor life when applied to the right surface, these decals give a clean, matte look without sacrificing durability.

  • Material: premium water-resistant vinyl engineered for weather resistance.
  • Finish: matte laminate that mutes shine and guards against scratches.
  • Print: eco-solvent inks for solid blacks and vivid color depth.
  • Protection: UV laminate extends outdoor life and helps prevent fade.
  • Longevity: rated to last multiple years outdoors under normal conditions.

Die-cut decals adhere best to smooth, non-porous surfaces — glass, metal, coated plastics and finished wood. They work well on bottles, windows, laptops and vehicle windows for short- to medium-term outdoor use.

  1. Prep the surface: remove dust and oils with a lint-free cloth; for residue use mild soap and water and allow to dry fully.
  2. Peel and position: lift a corner of the liner, align the decal and lay it down slowly, pressing from the center outward.
  3. Seal: smooth the edges with a card or your thumb to ensure full contact and reduce trapping air.

Note: to keep adhesive performance in wet conditions, apply decals to very smooth surfaces (for example: glass). Avoid rough or heavily textured materials where the adhesive can’t form a full bond.

Maintenance is low-effort. Gently wipe decals with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp microfiber and light pressure will clean the surface — dry immediately afterward.

Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents or power washers; these can scratch the laminate or lift edges. Proper care preserves the matte finish and keeps colors vivid for longer.

Sizes are specified by the longest side. For example, a 4″ decal measures four inches across its greatest dimension. The die-cut follows the artwork’s contour so the decal sits flush with clean, professional edges.

Small variations can occur with intricate outlines, but the listed measurement always reflects the maximum edge-to-edge length for accurate placement planning.
