SADC road sign GFS A2-3-RSA (Angola) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Die-Cut Decal

This design reproduces GFS A2-3, a guidance sign that marks a Provincial Park in Angola, drawn to the SADC Road Traffic Signs Manual.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is built for reading at a glance. A single park pictogram sits at the centre of the layout, with the rest of the sign kept plain so the symbol carries the message. The arrangement follows a regulatory logic: one clear image, no decoration, and nothing competing for attention. Its technical, administrative character comes from that restraint.

Meaning & Symbolism

The Generic Feature Sign series is a family of standardised graphics used across the Southern African Development Community to direct travellers toward scenic and tourist destinations. GFS A2-3 belongs to that system and signals a Provincial Park, telling drivers that a protected natural area lies ahead. Its regional origin places it within the shared transport and navigation framework that the SADC-RTSM sets out, so the sign speaks as much to the geography it points toward as to the road it stands beside.

Built for the Sticker's Own Outline

A die-cut sticker takes its shape from the design itself, so the outline of this sign becomes the object's edge rather than a rectangle wrapped around it. The pictogram reads cleanly at close range, which suits a sticker held in the hand or placed on a laptop lid, a travel journal, or a road-trip cooler. For collectors of transport signage and anyone who keeps a map of places they have been, the sticker turns a piece of navigation design into something personal.

Die-cut vinyl decals: precision-cut shapes on premium water-resistant vinyl with a matte laminate and UV protection — built to resist sun, rain and everyday wear for long-lasting use.

These die-cut decals are trimmed exactly to the design, producing crisp edges and a professional finish. They’re made from thick, water-resistant vinyl and finished with a matte UV laminate that reduces glare while protecting colors from fading.

The production process uses eco-solvent inks for dense, even color and a protective overlaminate that helps the decal survive outdoor exposure. Rated for multi-year outdoor life when applied to the right surface, these decals give a clean, matte look without sacrificing durability.

  • Material: premium water-resistant vinyl engineered for weather resistance.
  • Finish: matte laminate that mutes shine and guards against scratches.
  • Print: eco-solvent inks for solid blacks and vivid color depth.
  • Protection: UV laminate extends outdoor life and helps prevent fade.
  • Longevity: rated to last multiple years outdoors under normal conditions.

Die-cut decals adhere best to smooth, non-porous surfaces — glass, metal, coated plastics and finished wood. They work well on bottles, windows, laptops and vehicle windows for short- to medium-term outdoor use.

  1. Prep the surface: remove dust and oils with a lint-free cloth; for residue use mild soap and water and allow to dry fully.
  2. Peel and position: lift a corner of the liner, align the decal and lay it down slowly, pressing from the center outward.
  3. Seal: smooth the edges with a card or your thumb to ensure full contact and reduce trapping air.

Note: to keep adhesive performance in wet conditions, apply decals to very smooth surfaces (for example: glass). Avoid rough or heavily textured materials where the adhesive can’t form a full bond.

Maintenance is low-effort. Gently wipe decals with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp microfiber and light pressure will clean the surface — dry immediately afterward.

Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents or power washers; these can scratch the laminate or lift edges. Proper care preserves the matte finish and keeps colors vivid for longer.

Sizes are specified by the longest side. For example, a 4″ decal measures four inches across its greatest dimension. The die-cut follows the artwork’s contour so the decal sits flush with clean, professional edges.

Small variations can occur with intricate outlines, but the listed measurement always reflects the maximum edge-to-edge length for accurate placement planning.
