RJ-125 (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Die-Cut Decal

This design takes the form of a Brazilian road sign, built around the alphanumeric code RJ-125 and the name Brazil.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is minimalist and text-led. Nothing decorative competes with the code itself: the numerals and letters of RJ-125 sit at the centre of the piece, with the word Brazil set alongside them as the geographical anchor. The layout is clean and direct, so the typography does all of the work and the eye lands on the identifier first.

Meaning & Symbolism

Road designations like RJ-125 follow a national code system. The "RJ" prefix is the abbreviation for Rio de Janeiro state, and the number identifies a specific route within that network. The sign therefore reads as a piece of wayfinding: a single reference point that stands for a particular road, in a particular place, within Brazil's highway system.

On the Die-Cut Sticker

Because this artwork is cut to its own outline, the sign's silhouette becomes the sticker's edge. The design reads as a single object rather than a rectangle with a graphic inside it. Its clean, text-driven layout suits a close look, so the code and place name are the first things noticed when the piece is held or placed on a surface.

Die-cut vinyl decals: precision-cut shapes on premium water-resistant vinyl with a matte laminate and UV protection — built to resist sun, rain and everyday wear for long-lasting use.

These die-cut decals are trimmed exactly to the design, producing crisp edges and a professional finish. They’re made from thick, water-resistant vinyl and finished with a matte UV laminate that reduces glare while protecting colors from fading.

The production process uses eco-solvent inks for dense, even color and a protective overlaminate that helps the decal survive outdoor exposure. Rated for multi-year outdoor life when applied to the right surface, these decals give a clean, matte look without sacrificing durability.

  • Material: premium water-resistant vinyl engineered for weather resistance.
  • Finish: matte laminate that mutes shine and guards against scratches.
  • Print: eco-solvent inks for solid blacks and vivid color depth.
  • Protection: UV laminate extends outdoor life and helps prevent fade.
  • Longevity: rated to last multiple years outdoors under normal conditions.

Die-cut decals adhere best to smooth, non-porous surfaces — glass, metal, coated plastics and finished wood. They work well on bottles, windows, laptops and vehicle windows for short- to medium-term outdoor use.

  1. Prep the surface: remove dust and oils with a lint-free cloth; for residue use mild soap and water and allow to dry fully.
  2. Peel and position: lift a corner of the liner, align the decal and lay it down slowly, pressing from the center outward.
  3. Seal: smooth the edges with a card or your thumb to ensure full contact and reduce trapping air.

Note: to keep adhesive performance in wet conditions, apply decals to very smooth surfaces (for example: glass). Avoid rough or heavily textured materials where the adhesive can’t form a full bond.

Maintenance is low-effort. Gently wipe decals with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp microfiber and light pressure will clean the surface — dry immediately afterward.

Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents or power washers; these can scratch the laminate or lift edges. Proper care preserves the matte finish and keeps colors vivid for longer.

Sizes are specified by the longest side. For example, a 4″ decal measures four inches across its greatest dimension. The die-cut follows the artwork’s contour so the decal sits flush with clean, professional edges.

Small variations can occur with intricate outlines, but the listed measurement always reflects the maximum edge-to-edge length for accurate placement planning.
