Marine Air Support Squadron 1 (USMC) Reverse Print Transparent Die-Cut Sticker Design

This sticker design presents a dynamic visual representation of Marine Air Support Squadron 1 (MASS-1) and its crucial role in modern combat operations. The artwork utilizes a reverse print technique, allowing for application to surfaces and visibility from the front, while maintaining a sleek, modern aesthetic.

Elements and Symbolism

The central element of the design likely features the MASS-1 unit insignia or emblem. This would immediately identify the unit and its proud affiliation with the United States Marine Corps. The use of the official unit insignia serves as a mark of authenticity and professionalism. The choice of colors within the emblem is meticulously selected to reflect the unit's heritage and mission.

The design is likely to incorporate visual elements signifying air power and ground support. Perhaps there are stylized silhouettes of Marine aircraft, like the F-35B Lightning II or the AV-8B Harrier, representing the air assets that MASS-1 coordinates. These aircraft may be integrated into a larger, dynamic design that visually links them to elements signifying ground forces, such as the silhouette of a Marine infantryman or a stylized representation of a battle map.

The transparency of the sticker provides a unique visual effect, allowing the background surface to subtly interact with the design elements. This is especially advantageous for the integration of the emblem and air support icons. The overall effect should be both visually striking and representative of the MASS-1 mission: ensuring effective air support for Marine ground forces.

The die-cut shape of the sticker allows for a clean and precise edge that complements the design. The form of the sticker may be an outline of the unit's insignia, or could be shaped in a related form.

Reverse-print die-cut decals are made to be installed on the **inside** of glass so your artwork faces outward. Built from water-resistant vinyl and finished with a matte UV laminate, they’re designed to stay vivid while being protected from the elements.

Think of these as “inside-protected” window graphics: the printed face is applied to the glass interior, which keeps the design shielded from direct contact and weather. The core material is a robust, water-resistant vinyl topped with a matte laminate that reduces glare and adds scratch resistance.

We use eco-solvent inks for saturated, long-lasting color, and each decal is precision die-cut so the edges sit clean against the glass. Finished in the USA from globally sourced components, these decals balance durability with a professional, understated look.

  • Material: water-resistant vinyl with a matte UV-protective laminate.
  • Method: reverse-print (installed inside glass) so the environment meets glass, not the ink.
  • Durability: engineered for multi-year outdoor performance when properly applied.
  • Made in the USA: assembled locally from globally sourced parts.
  • Design notes: very small elements placed close together may cut into a single shape; low-contrast elements on dark glass can be hard to see from the street.

Where do people put these? Storefront windows, car or van glass (interior mount), glass office partitions, and interior display cases are common spots. Because the print faces outward but is protected from the outside, the graphic holds up better against touch and weather.

  1. Prep: thoroughly clean the glass—use mild soap and water or an alcohol wipe for grease. Let it dry completely.
  2. Position: peel a corner of the liner and align carefully. Lay the decal down slowly, pressing from the center outward to push out air.
  3. Finish: use a soft card or squeegee to smooth edges; allow at least 24 hours for the adhesive to fully bond before heavy exposure to weather.

Heads-up: if your design uses fine text or very thin lines packed close together, consider simplifying those elements—small slivers can merge during cutting. Also, designs placed on dark-tinted glass will read darker and may lose subtle hues.

Care is low-key but worthwhile. Wipe decals with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn dirt, use a lightly damp microfiber and blot dry right away.

Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders, and harsh solvents such as straight ammonia or concentrated cleaners—those can dull the laminate or lift edges. Proper, gentle cleaning preserves the matte finish and color saturation over time.

Available in five sizes. We list sizes by the sticker’s longest side—so a 4″ decal measures four inches across its greatest dimension. The die-cut follows the artwork outline for a tight, professional edge.

If your artwork has intricate islands or very thin gaps, expect slight variation: tiny islands may be merged into a single piece during cutting. When in doubt, test at a slightly larger scale or simplify closely spaced details.
