The Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove were third-century Chinese scholars, writers and musicians of the Wei and Jin dynasties. Their retreat became one of the most enduring motifs in Chinese art and literature, standing for intellectual freedom, personal integrity and disdain for worldly power. It reflects the Daoist-leaning ideal of stepping away from court intrigue in pursuit of spiritual and artistic truth. Liu painted this subject in 1844 during the Qing dynasty, placing his handscroll within the literati tradition of scholar-painters who reworked classical themes through their own technical mastery.

Reminder: these stickers are not waterproof. Keep them away from sinks, outdoor exposure, and dishwasher cycles to maintain adhesion and finish.

Sizes are measured across the sticker’s longest side. For example, a 3″ sticker is 3 inches across its largest dimension (height or width, depending on the shape).
