British Columbia Guide Tab 09 Brown (Canada) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Die-Cut Decal

A flat, modern tab of ochre brown carries the numeral 09 against a white field, reading as a regional guide marker pulled straight from a field manual or a roadside sign.

Visual Elements & Composition

White dominates the design, covering most of the surface and giving the composition its clean, open feel. Ochre brown takes the central role, shaped into a rounded rectangular sign border that frames the numeral 09 and a diagonal arrow pointing up and to the right. Small touches of black add contrast to the numerals and linework. The layout is ordered and symmetrical in its framing, with nothing decorative beyond the tab itself, so the eye moves from the sign border to the number and then to the arrow.

Meaning & Symbolism

The design draws on the visual language of wayfinding: a numbered tab signals sections in a guide, and a directional arrow points the way forward. Together they give the artwork its theme of Canadian geography and outdoor navigation, with the name British Columbia anchoring the piece to a specific province. The brown palette reinforces that reading, since brown is the colour traditionally used for recreational and heritage signage across the country. The result is an informative, understated tribute to regional identity, built from the conventions of road and field-guide design.

On the Die-Cut Sticker

A die-cut sticker is cut to its own outline, so the rounded sign border becomes the edge of the object itself. The tab, the numeral 09 and the arrow sit inside that silhouette as one shape, which suits a design built around a single bounded sign. Each piece is a standalone marker of British Columbia, ready to be placed where a collector wants a directional nod to the province.

Die-cut vinyl decals: precision-cut shapes on premium water-resistant vinyl with a matte laminate and UV protection — built to resist sun, rain and everyday wear for long-lasting use.

These die-cut decals are trimmed exactly to the design, producing crisp edges and a professional finish. They’re made from thick, water-resistant vinyl and finished with a matte UV laminate that reduces glare while protecting colors from fading.

The production process uses eco-solvent inks for dense, even color and a protective overlaminate that helps the decal survive outdoor exposure. Rated for multi-year outdoor life when applied to the right surface, these decals give a clean, matte look without sacrificing durability.

  • Material: premium water-resistant vinyl engineered for weather resistance.
  • Finish: matte laminate that mutes shine and guards against scratches.
  • Print: eco-solvent inks for solid blacks and vivid color depth.
  • Protection: UV laminate extends outdoor life and helps prevent fade.
  • Longevity: rated to last multiple years outdoors under normal conditions.

Die-cut decals adhere best to smooth, non-porous surfaces — glass, metal, coated plastics and finished wood. They work well on bottles, windows, laptops and vehicle windows for short- to medium-term outdoor use.

  1. Prep the surface: remove dust and oils with a lint-free cloth; for residue use mild soap and water and allow to dry fully.
  2. Peel and position: lift a corner of the liner, align the decal and lay it down slowly, pressing from the center outward.
  3. Seal: smooth the edges with a card or your thumb to ensure full contact and reduce trapping air.

Note: to keep adhesive performance in wet conditions, apply decals to very smooth surfaces (for example: glass). Avoid rough or heavily textured materials where the adhesive can’t form a full bond.

Maintenance is low-effort. Gently wipe decals with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp microfiber and light pressure will clean the surface — dry immediately afterward.

Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents or power washers; these can scratch the laminate or lift edges. Proper care preserves the matte finish and keeps colors vivid for longer.

Sizes are specified by the longest side. For example, a 4″ decal measures four inches across its greatest dimension. The die-cut follows the artwork’s contour so the decal sits flush with clean, professional edges.

Small variations can occur with intricate outlines, but the listed measurement always reflects the maximum edge-to-edge length for accurate placement planning.
