Bandera de la Marina de Guerra Dominicana Con sus trenta y un estrellas (Dominica) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

The flag of the Dominican Navy, a dark blue field carrying a white cross, thirty-one white stars and a central coat of arms.

Visual Elements & Composition

Dark blue dominates the design, with white for the cross, the stars and the emblem's details, and small touches of red and green inside the coat of arms. The white cross runs across the field and organises the arrangement of the thirty-one stars around it. The coat of arms sits at the centre in a shield shape, carrying a Bible, a cross, spears, and laurel and palm branches. The lettering on the emblem reads DIOS, PATRIA, LIBERTAD and REPÚBLICA DOMINICANA. The layout is formal and symmetrical.

Meaning & Symbolism

The motto Dios, Patria, Libertad, God, Fatherland, Freedom, is the national motto of the Dominican Republic and anchors the emblem in the country's identity. The laurel and palm branches signal honour and peace, and the Bible and cross reflect the national emphasis on faith. The flag is the naval flag of the Dominican Navy, and the thirty-one stars and the cross give it the dignified, orderly character of a national service's own heraldry.

A Sticker Cut to the Emblem

A kiss-cut sticker follows the outline of the artwork, so the cut edge can follow the cross or the shield of the emblem rather than a square around the flag. Peeled onto a notebook, a laptop lid or a window, the design reads as a crisp field of blue with the emblem and star pattern as its focus.
