780th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron (U.S. Air Force) REVERSE PRINT Transparent Die-Cut STICKER

This striking sticker design features a reverse print, allowing it to be applied to the inside of a window or other transparent surface, showcasing the artwork from the outside. The die-cut shape ensures the design follows the exact contours of the artwork, providing a clean and professional appearance. The transparent background further enhances this effect, making the imagery appear to float against any surface.

Visual Elements & Symbolism

The central element of the design likely showcases the iconic silhouette of a C-130 or a similar airlift aircraft, the workhorse of the 780th EAS. This image immediately communicates the squadron's primary mission: air transport and logistics. The aircraft might be depicted in flight, perhaps over a stylized geographic representation of a region where the squadron has operated, such as a map of Afghanistan or the Mediterranean.

The design may incorporate other key visual elements: the squadron's official emblem or crest, which could include symbols representing its history, such as the B-24 Liberator bomber to reflect its World War II origins. The inclusion of the squadron number ("780th") and the words "Expeditionary Airlift Squadron" clearly identifies the unit. The use of official U.S. Air Force colors, such as shades of blue and silver, may be integrated into the design to maintain a sense of authority and professionalism.

The reverse print format underscores the squadron's global reach and its ability to project forces wherever needed. The transparent background symbolizes the squadron's transparency and open operations. Overall, the design aims to evoke a sense of strength, mobility, and commitment to supporting worldwide U.S. and allied operations.

Reverse-print die-cut decals are made to be installed on the **inside** of glass so your artwork faces outward. Built from water-resistant vinyl and finished with a matte UV laminate, they’re designed to stay vivid while being protected from the elements.

Think of these as “inside-protected” window graphics: the printed face is applied to the glass interior, which keeps the design shielded from direct contact and weather. The core material is a robust, water-resistant vinyl topped with a matte laminate that reduces glare and adds scratch resistance.

We use eco-solvent inks for saturated, long-lasting color, and each decal is precision die-cut so the edges sit clean against the glass. Finished in the USA from globally sourced components, these decals balance durability with a professional, understated look.

  • Material: water-resistant vinyl with a matte UV-protective laminate.
  • Method: reverse-print (installed inside glass) so the environment meets glass, not the ink.
  • Durability: engineered for multi-year outdoor performance when properly applied.
  • Made in the USA: assembled locally from globally sourced parts.
  • Design notes: very small elements placed close together may cut into a single shape; low-contrast elements on dark glass can be hard to see from the street.

Where do people put these? Storefront windows, car or van glass (interior mount), glass office partitions, and interior display cases are common spots. Because the print faces outward but is protected from the outside, the graphic holds up better against touch and weather.

  1. Prep: thoroughly clean the glass—use mild soap and water or an alcohol wipe for grease. Let it dry completely.
  2. Position: peel a corner of the liner and align carefully. Lay the decal down slowly, pressing from the center outward to push out air.
  3. Finish: use a soft card or squeegee to smooth edges; allow at least 24 hours for the adhesive to fully bond before heavy exposure to weather.

Heads-up: if your design uses fine text or very thin lines packed close together, consider simplifying those elements—small slivers can merge during cutting. Also, designs placed on dark-tinted glass will read darker and may lose subtle hues.

Care is low-key but worthwhile. Wipe decals with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn dirt, use a lightly damp microfiber and blot dry right away.

Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders, and harsh solvents such as straight ammonia or concentrated cleaners—those can dull the laminate or lift edges. Proper, gentle cleaning preserves the matte finish and color saturation over time.

Available in five sizes. We list sizes by the sticker’s longest side—so a 4″ decal measures four inches across its greatest dimension. The die-cut follows the artwork outline for a tight, professional edge.

If your artwork has intricate islands or very thin gaps, expect slight variation: tiny islands may be merged into a single piece during cutting. When in doubt, test at a slightly larger scale or simplify closely spaced details.
