3d MLG Family Readiness Volunteer (USMC) Reverse Print Die-Cut Sticker: Design Overview

This transparent die-cut sticker features a design that embodies the spirit of the 3d Marine Logistics Group (3d MLG) Family Readiness Volunteer program. The reverse print technique ensures the design is viewed through the adhesive side, protecting the artwork and giving it a sleek, modern look.

Visual Elements & Symbolism

The central element of the design likely includes the 3d MLG insignia, symbolizing the specific unit and its commitment to the well-being of its Marines and their families. This emblem acts as a focal point, grounding the design in the mission of the organization.

The design may incorporate elements representing community, support, and the interconnectedness of Marine families. Possible visual cues could include stylized depictions of helping hands, linked rings, or a family silhouette, visually communicating the program's core purpose of connecting, supporting, and empowering families within the Marine Corps community. These symbols reflect the program's vital role in fostering strong relationships and promoting overall family readiness.

The die-cut shape of the sticker allows for a custom, tailored outline, possibly reflecting the shape of a star, heart, or other meaningful form, further enhancing the visual impact. This precise cut creates a clean edge, allowing the design to stand out on any surface. The transparent background ensures the design can integrate seamlessly with various backgrounds.

Reverse-print die-cut decals are made to be installed on the **inside** of glass so your artwork faces outward. Built from water-resistant vinyl and finished with a matte UV laminate, they’re designed to stay vivid while being protected from the elements.

Think of these as “inside-protected” window graphics: the printed face is applied to the glass interior, which keeps the design shielded from direct contact and weather. The core material is a robust, water-resistant vinyl topped with a matte laminate that reduces glare and adds scratch resistance.

We use eco-solvent inks for saturated, long-lasting color, and each decal is precision die-cut so the edges sit clean against the glass. Finished in the USA from globally sourced components, these decals balance durability with a professional, understated look.

  • Material: water-resistant vinyl with a matte UV-protective laminate.
  • Method: reverse-print (installed inside glass) so the environment meets glass, not the ink.
  • Durability: engineered for multi-year outdoor performance when properly applied.
  • Made in the USA: assembled locally from globally sourced parts.
  • Design notes: very small elements placed close together may cut into a single shape; low-contrast elements on dark glass can be hard to see from the street.

Where do people put these? Storefront windows, car or van glass (interior mount), glass office partitions, and interior display cases are common spots. Because the print faces outward but is protected from the outside, the graphic holds up better against touch and weather.

  1. Prep: thoroughly clean the glass—use mild soap and water or an alcohol wipe for grease. Let it dry completely.
  2. Position: peel a corner of the liner and align carefully. Lay the decal down slowly, pressing from the center outward to push out air.
  3. Finish: use a soft card or squeegee to smooth edges; allow at least 24 hours for the adhesive to fully bond before heavy exposure to weather.

Heads-up: if your design uses fine text or very thin lines packed close together, consider simplifying those elements—small slivers can merge during cutting. Also, designs placed on dark-tinted glass will read darker and may lose subtle hues.

Care is low-key but worthwhile. Wipe decals with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn dirt, use a lightly damp microfiber and blot dry right away.

Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders, and harsh solvents such as straight ammonia or concentrated cleaners—those can dull the laminate or lift edges. Proper, gentle cleaning preserves the matte finish and color saturation over time.

Available in five sizes. We list sizes by the sticker’s longest side—so a 4″ decal measures four inches across its greatest dimension. The die-cut follows the artwork outline for a tight, professional edge.

If your artwork has intricate islands or very thin gaps, expect slight variation: tiny islands may be merged into a single piece during cutting. When in doubt, test at a slightly larger scale or simplify closely spaced details.
