Visual Elements & Composition

A circular badge sits at the centre of the composition. A bald eagle head in profile, with a dagger held in its beak, anchors the upper field. Below it, an ornate key with a brown bow crosses the lower half of the badge. A curved text banner carries the lettering 15TH, INTELLIGENCE and SQ, and the lettering is set in the same restrained, formal register as the emblem itself. Meaning & Symbolism

The unit began on October 1, 1982, as the 6915 Electronic Security Squadron. It was redesignated the 15 Intelligence Squadron in 2008, inactivated in 2022, and reactivated on July 31, 2025, under the 77 Intelligence Wing. The eagle stands for the Air Force's national identity and air power. The dagger and key are the badge's intelligence-specific marks: the dagger signals the squadron's covert, intelligence-focused mission, and the key stands for controlled access to protected information. Made for smooth surfaces: glass, metal, coated plastics, sealed laptops, bottles, mirrors, lockers, and windows. Suitable for interiors and short-term exterior spots like vehicle windows or signage.

  1. Prep: clean the area with mild soap and water or 70% isopropyl alcohol; let it dry fully.
  2. Apply: peel, align, and press from the center outward with a card or squeegee to push out air.
  3. Set: allow 24 hours for the adhesive to reach full bond; avoid heavy moisture during this time.

Tips: Avoid heavily textured or silicone-coated surfaces. For curved items, apply slowly and don’t stretch the film.

  • Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth from the center outward to lift dust and grime.
