sp-649-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal
SP-649 (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

SP-649 (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

SP-649 is a road-sign design built on a single route designation and the name Brazil, presented as a standalone graphic.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition follows the road-sign format, with the designation SP-649 as the central text. Nothing competes with the lettering: the route code and the country name carry the whole design. The hierarchy is simple, so the eye reads the number first and the Brazil reference second.

Meaning & Symbolism

The "SP" prefix is the state code for São Paulo, one of Brazil's 26 states, and the three-digit number follows the pattern of Brazilian state highway designations. Road signage is among the most recognisable visual systems in any country, so borrowing its format anchors the piece in everyday national identity rather than in a single landmark. The work sits within the themes of geography and national identity, and its neutral mood lets the place name speak for itself.

Cut to the Sign's Outline

A kiss-cut is trimmed to its own shape, so this sticker takes the sign's silhouette as its edge. The object becomes the design, not a rectangle with a design printed on it. That suits a sign-format piece: it is seen up close, lifted from its backing, and set on a smooth flat surface such as a journal cover or laptop lid, where a route marker belongs.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0493/3949/8646/files/sp-649-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal-TSS-STICK-SP649-2X2-1FQXV-front.webp?v=1793750264
