sp-354-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-die-cut-decal
SP-354 (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Die-Cut Decal

SP-354 (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Die-Cut Decal

This design takes the form of a road sign and carries the Brazilian road code SP-354 as its central identifier, pairing it with the name of the country.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is built around the sign format and its alphanumeric code. The letters SP and the number 354 set the hierarchy, with the word Brazil identifying the subject. The layout is stripped back to these elements, so the code and the sign shape do the work of the image.

Meaning & Symbolism

Brazilian highways are designated by a state prefix followed by a number. SP refers to São Paulo, Brazil's most populous state, and the road-sign format ties the piece to the everyday infrastructure that moves people across the country. Within the work's own series, SP-354 functions as a catalogue number, marking this entry among other thematic pieces. The themes it sits within are geography, regional identity and nationalism, all expressed through a single, direct reference to Brazil.

On the Die-Cut Sticker

A road sign has a defined outline, and a die-cut sticker can follow that outline exactly. Cut to the sign's own edge, the sticker reads as a sign in its own right, so the artwork is seen as a single object rather than a rectangle with a graphic on it. It works best on a surface where a sign would be expected to sit: a laptop lid, a notebook cover, a water bottle or a journal, placed where it can be read at a glance.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0493/3949/8646/files/sp-354-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-die-cut-decal-TSS-STICK-SP354-WHITED-front.webp?v=1793659666
