mg-392-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal
MG-392 (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

MG-392 (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

This design takes the form of a road sign and gives it one job: naming the highway MG-392 and tying it to Brazil.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is built around the route designation. MG-392 is the dominant text, and the sign's layout holds it as the focal point, the way a real highway marker does. The "(Brazil)" qualifier sits in the title as the design's defining reference. The road-sign format sets the framework, and the design reads at a glance, with no ornament competing with the lettering.

Meaning & Symbolism

The letters MG are the standard abbreviation for Minas Gerais, one of Brazil's states, and the number 392 identifies a route within its network. Road signs are the most ordinary form of public wayfinding, so the design carries a quiet civic idea: a country made of named roads, each one a place a traveller can find. For collectors of Brazilian road markers, the sign is a piece of national geography reduced to a single designation, and its meaning rests on that connection to the state and the country.

Made for a Kiss-Cut Sticker

A kiss-cut sticker is cut to its own outline, so the road sign's shape becomes the sticker's edge, with no border around it. The design reads as a single, self-contained object, which suits a flat surface where its outline is the first thing noticed. The sticker works as a small, deliberate piece of highway signage, placed on a laptop lid, a journal cover or any other smooth, flat surface that suits the scale of a route marker.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0493/3949/8646/files/mg-392-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal-TSS-STICK-MG392-2X2-1FRME-front.webp?v=1793736181
