mg-071-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal
MG-071 (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

MG-071 (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

This sticker takes the form of a road sign and gives it one subject: Brazil, the nation, shown as a clean national signifier.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is built around a single road-sign format, with the country name as the central message. Nothing extraneous is added. The design strips its subject back to the name and the sign shape, so the eye lands on Brazil immediately. The catalogue code MG-071 is printed as part of the identity of the piece, placing it within the MG series, where each entry puts a country at its centre.

Meaning & Symbolism

Road signs direct, warn and identify, and this design borrows that language to point at a place. Brazil is tagged as geography and national identity, so the sign reads as a marker of territory and belonging. Set on the familiar form of a road sign, the name becomes a signpost to a country rather than a street, inviting the viewer to see the nation as a destination.

Cut to the Sign's Outline

A kiss-cut sticker is cut to its own outline, so this piece carries the silhouette of the road sign itself with no backing border around it. The shape does the framing. It works best on a surface where the sign can be read as a sign, placed where a viewer approaches it directly, the way a real road sign is encountered head-on.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0493/3949/8646/files/mg-071-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal-TSS-STICK-MG071-2X2-1FRON-front.webp?v=1793738214
