The blue canton fills the upper hoist corner and carries the star field, arranged in staggered rows. Red, white and navy blue are the only colours, and the flat vector finish keeps every stripe and star crisp. The rectangle dominates the composition, and the layout is symmetrical from edge to edge.

Meaning & Symbolism

Each star stands for a state and each stripe for one of the original thirteen colonies. This version followed Alaska's admission in January 1959 and stayed in use until the fifty-star flag took effect on 4 July 1960, after Hawaii's admission. It records a short, specific moment in the nation's history, when the flag had one star more than the one before it and one fewer than the one that followed.

On the Kiss-Cut Sticker

A kiss-cut sticker keeps the backing intact while the vinyl is trimmed to the shape of the flag, so the rectangle and its clean edges stay sharp when it is peeled onto a surface. The facts support indoor use, and this design suits flat, smooth indoor surfaces such as a laptop, a journal or a window, where the flag's proportions can be seen whole.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0493/3949/8646/files/flag-of-the-united-states-1959-1960-3-2-aspect-ratio-united-states-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal-82179242220542838067-alt-3.webp?v=1787544647
https://thestickerspace.com/products/flag-of-the-united-states-1959-1960-3-2-aspect-ratio-united-states-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal
