br-174-jct-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal
BR-174 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

BR-174 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

This design isolates the junction marker for the BR-174, a federal highway in Brazil, and presents its designation as the entire subject.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is built around text and numerals. The route identifier BR-174 and the abbreviation jct for junction carry the design, with nothing competing for attention. The layout is direct and sign-like, so the eye reads the designation first and the rest of the marker second. Its plainness is the point: the artwork reads like the wayfinding it reproduces.

Meaning & Symbolism

A road designation is a small piece of national infrastructure. The BR prefix marks Brazil's federal highway network, and the number 174 places this route within it. Junction markers exist to help drivers make decisions at intersections, so the sign stands for navigation, distance and the long routes that connect regions across South America. The design belongs to a tradition of road typography, where a few letters and digits carry an entire geography.

Why It Suits a Sticker

A kiss-cut sticker is cut to the outline of its own artwork, so the lettering and the edge of the marker define the object's final shape. Applied to a laptop, a notebook or a travel case, the piece reads as a small, self-contained road sign. It suits collectors of road signage, enthusiasts of cartography, and anyone with a connection to Brazilian travel.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0493/3949/8646/files/br-174-jct-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal-TSS-STICK-BR174-2X2-4-front.webp?v=1793689034
