br-172-jct-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal
BR-172 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

BR-172 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) STICKER Vinyl Kiss-Cut Decal

This design takes the BR-172 junction as its subject, rendering the identifier of one specific crossing on Brazil's highway network as a single, direct piece of road signage.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is minimalist and built around the route designation itself. The BR-172 marker is the dominant element, with the junction reading clearly through its lettering and numerals. Nothing competes with it. The layout strips away decoration so the sign's identity carries the piece, echoing the plain clarity of transit markers found along major roadways.

Meaning & Symbolism

The BR prefix marks a federal highway in Brazil's national road system, and the number 172 identifies this route within it. A junction, or "jct", is the point where routes meet and traffic changes direction, so the sign stands for connection and choice rather than a single road. Navigational signage of this kind is the everyday language of travel, and the design honours the logistical network that moves people across a country of very diverse landscapes.

Cut to the Sign's Own Outline

A kiss-cut sticker is trimmed to its own outline, so the BR-172 marker reads as a standalone object rather than a rectangle with a border. That suits a design built on a single sign: the cut edge mirrors the shape of the road marker itself. It is a natural fit for road trip collectors, anyone who keeps a record of routes travelled, and fans of infrastructure design who want a clean, functional piece of Brazilian transit culture on a personal object.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0493/3949/8646/files/br-172-jct-brazil-road-sign-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal-TSS-STICK-BR172-2X2-1FSMI-front.webp?v=1793689126
