The layout is structured like a traditional broadside or museum-quality print, using neutral, vintage-inspired tones that lend the piece a sense of immediate, somber permanence. The text itself occupies the entirety of the visual space, turning the specific, devastating statistic into an unavoidable monument.

The Weight of Remembrance

Created in 2020, this piece acts as a visual archive, pinning a moment of collective trauma to the public consciousness. Kennedy’s choice to focus solely on the numerical loss of 110,000 lives forces the viewer to confront the scale of the tragedy without distraction. It is a work of public health history that functions as an act of memorialization, pulling the abstract data of the pandemic back into the realm of human reality.

The Sticker as Archive

By translating this museum-style print into a kiss-cut sticker, the design moves from a static wall-hanging to a mobile, tactile object. The contour-cut allows the stark, memorial text to stand alone on your laptop, journal, or flat indoor surface. Because the sticker is cut precisely to the silhouette of the design, it functions as a portable, quiet placard that demands reflection whenever it is encountered in your daily environment.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0493/3949/8646/files/amos-kennedy-please-remember-the-more-than-110000-people-who-have-died-from-covid-19-2020-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal-TSS-STICK-MSKNN-2X2-2-front.webp?v=1789117899
https://thestickerspace.com/products/amos-kennedy-please-remember-the-more-than-110000-people-who-have-died-from-covid-19-2020-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal
