The visual narrative centers around the shield. The central design represents different industries such as farming with the golden fleece, agriculture represented by the sheaf of wheat, and mining and industry via the crossed hammers.

The inclusion of the crown above the shield speaks to the nation's historical ties to the British monarchy. The fern leaves at the base symbolize New Zealand's unique natural heritage. The prominent display of "New Zealand" on a scroll asserts national identity.

Juxtaposition and Meaning

The decal's design cleverly merges these two aspects. The juxtaposition of the individual's name (Alice Spragg) and the national emblem, creates a visual reminder of the individual's contribution to New Zealand history and the nation's identity.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0493/3949/8646/files/alice-spragg-new-zealand-coat-of-arms-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal-2-inch-white-position1.webp?v=1772383795
https://thestickerspace.com/products/alice-spragg-new-zealand-coat-of-arms-sticker-vinyl-kiss-cut-decal
